Colleagues, I just received an interesting grant announcement from the
National Endowment for the Humanities, NEH, seeking proposals using
optical character recognition on historical or bilingual texts (making
them searchable by scholars).  The NEH link is copied below, and I
also attached the original research report that prompted the agency to
post this opportunity.
