Hi all,

I=E2=80=99ve just joined the list and I found a post from 2015 on t= his topic but I wonder if we=E2=80=99ve made any progress on qualitative to= ols accessibility. On Windows? I don=E2=80=99t have JAWS but if something w= orks brilliantly with it I could attempt to get it.

I have access to NVivo and Atlas= .ti through my university and just sat down to try both with Narrator and N= VDA. Nvivo=E2=80=99s help pages suggest it works with Narrator, but as soon= as I (eventually) manage to open a transcript file to attempt to code it, = I can=E2=80=99t even manage to focus to move around by line. NVDA just read= s the entire file in one blob too.

For Atlas, I=E2=80=99m stuck on the intro screen = so far, not able to focus the create project text. I know I can do somethin= g like find a button with Aira of course, but I don=E2=80=99t really want t= o waste time so would appreciate any experiences with either software. Or o= ther options.

I will very likely just come up with my own system for coding if nothi= ng if accessible enough to actually speed up the process, but thought askin= g was worth a shot... 😊

Thanks very much!

Best wishes,
