Hi Mike,

I'm a professor at Yale School of Public Health and received my Ph.D. in
social psychology. A big part of my research focuses on how ableism impacts
the well-being of people with disabilities, including those who are blind.
For example, I have recently published a paper examining ableism
experiences in mental healthcare settings, and many of our
study participants commented on the pervasiveness of accessibility
barriers. Here is a link to the study if you would like to learn more:
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2667321524001070#:~:text=Ableism%20is%20a%20major%20concern,medical%20gaslighting%20and%20inadequate%20accommodations
.

Feel free to reach out if you would like to learn more about my other work!

Best,
Katie
