Hi,

I find the swimming pool environment generally very accessible. I tend to
put my kane on the deck at the end of my lane if lap swimming so that it is
there as soon as I get out of the pool. If this is not appropriate, then i
set it along the wall of chairs or whatever is directly at the end of the
lane so I can walk to it indpependently. If not swimming laps for leisure
then I will put my kane idown some where in relation to a ladder or some
other landmark that I can identify from within the pool.

If lap swimming, I like to have a tapper or I wish the AdapTap was
available, other wise I count strokes and slow down as I approach the end. I
use other clues such as a radio playing etc things that are already there to
help with orientation if necessary.

In the locker room I take my own pushbutton lock and pick a locker that is
easy for me to locate.

Lori
