I don't know ladies and gentlemen, but too me it sounds like we have another inductee in the cycling religion. Welcome Jenifer, may you be baptized with Gatorade, take the sacraments of Power Bars and Gel packs, and take your rightful place behind your captain. You have great potential amongst us, as evidenced by your willingness to be "goated" into competition, and the fact that you knew the time gap between you and your "rivals." 
Everyone, rise out of your saddles and pronounce: "Welcome Jenifer."  

Personal note:
Today I was cleared for "Physical activity as tolerated." Woo Hoo!!! After sitting around the dorm room for nearly two weeks, and putting on "a few" pounds in all the wrong places and spaces, I'm sure I'll be able to tolerate quite a bit. I've already figured out how to wrap the BowFlex straps around my wrists so I don't have to grip the handles, and wrapping the knee allows for very light squats.
