To all goalball athletes, coaches and referees,
 
   ABAC has taken the sponsorship of a former Japanese goalball player who
is doing a year long internship in the USA, Canada and Europe, reporting on
goalball programs around the world.
   Her name is Tomoe Takada.  She is a B1 athlete and former member of the
Japanese National team.  She competed at the 2008 games in Beijing.  She is
currently living in Colorado Springs and plans on attending the tournament
next month in New Jersey prior to going to Europe (Lithuania, Sweden,
Finland and England) where she will observe tournaments and study the
goalball programs there.
   Part of her study consists of interviews.  I suggested to her that I put
her information and email address out to the USA-goalball group where
goalballers could make initital contact with her and she could reply with
her interview questions.  I have no idea how in depth the questions will be.

  I would appreciate everyone's time and input to her study.   In your
initial contact I would ask the subject be "Goalball Study" and suggest
providing your name, gender, state, years playing goalball.  She can then
reply to each of you on an individual basis for responses.
