ATTENTION MARATHON RUNNERS AND TRIATHLETES
 
 
 
1.  Registration is Now Open for the 2010 USAF Marathon:  The 2010 USAF
Marathon will be held on September 18, 2010 in Dayton, Ohio. There will be
race lengths: 5K, 10K, half-marathon and full marathon. The full marathon
will include a category for athletes with a visual impairment.

2.  USA Paratriathlon National Team Applications Now Available (USA
Triathlon March 09, 2010):

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Applications are now being accepted for the 2010
USA Paratriathlon National Team. Athletes selected to this funded team will
receive a number of benefits during the 2010 USA Paratriathlon Race Series,
including travel, lodging, entry into each race and a uniform. 

USA Triathlon is seeking men and women from all paratriathlon categories for
the team.

Selected team members must compete in each of the following exciting races:

*	Accenture USA Paratriathlon Nationals Championships, July 18, New
York, N.Y. 

*	Chicago Triathlon, Aug. 28, Chicago, Ill. 

*	Nautica Malibu Triathlon, Sept. 12, Malibu, Calif. 


Please note that the race series is not exclusive to this sponsored team.
All paratriathletes are encouraged to attend and participate at these events
alongside the national team.
All paratriathletes interested in applying for the 2010 national team can

All applicants must be a current USAT member and a U.S. citizen.
Applications should be emailed to USA Paratriathlon National Team Director
Peter Harsch at usat.paratriteam at gmail.com. Please include your name in the
subject line of your email (i.e. John Smith Paratriathlon Team Application).

The deadline for all applications is midnight (CDT) Monday, March 29. The
USA Paratriathlon National Team will be announced no later than April 15. 

Please note that team members will be chosen by the USA Paratriathlon
Committee and must sign the USAT commitment and waiver forms.
