(Colorado Springs, Colo.) - USA Judo is pleased to announce that Scott Moore
(Englewood, Colo.) has been named the 2009 U.S. Olympic Committee Paralympic
Coach of the Year. 

 

Moore was the head coach of the USA Judo Team that won 17 medals at the 2009
International Blind Sports Association Pan American Games in July.  In
addition, Moore led the U.S. Team to six medals, including two golds, at the
2009 German Open International Championships - the most prestigious
international tournaments in the world for visually impaired players during
a post-Paralympic year.
