Hi all,

I won two scholarships from CAF.  It is pretty simple.  Follow the  
instructions, and keep the deadline in-mind.  Whether you need a  
bike, sailboat, snow skis and a target rifle, etc:  CAF can help!   
Write a good story, and you'll probably get funded.

As bikes go, you'll get enough to buy a good tandem.  Next Spring,  
you'll get your checks and we can all do a little online window  
shopping.

If you already have a tandem, CAF will fund travel or training.  This  
time around, I may apply for travel funds to do the big ride across  
Iowa, called the RAGBRAI.   Many of my friends ride in it, and host  
the riders as the rolling party moves across the Hawkeye state.

If you are interested in tandem cycling, join the Blind Stokers  
Club!  If you don't have a tandem, the BSC can help you find one in  
your area.  If you need a captain, the BSC can help you find a local  
captain or two.  Both the CAF and the BSC are worldwide
