[Sportsandrec] tandum bike?

Hi all,
I know this has been discussed at some point in the past but I wanted to ask for suggestions for a tandum bike.  Not really sure how much I am going to be able to get my wife and friends to ride with me so I am not looking to spend any more than I have to to get something decent. any suggestions
