Roger,
Go for the chocolate if you really have to have it...just not often. The 
bananas are natural and therefor more healthy but the calories are probably 
just as high.  Its like drinking fruit juice instead of a soft drink.  Of 
course its much healthier but if your goal is fat loss and calorie control 
even the healthy option has more calories than you should be taking in. 
Especially late at night.
