Subject: Re: [Sportsandrec] Question about Braille games

Hi All,

We have Apples to Apples Junior & our kids love it. Most of the information
fits if brailled onto the actual card itself; on ours, the additional
information that didn’t fit on a few card is affixed to the back of the
card with Braille label. - I think this one, like many of our games, came
from Santa’s Workshop :-)

An additional Braille game source which I am not sure if anyone has
mentioned is eBay – type “braille games” in the search field – I do so from
time to time & the options vary a lot. It seems like there are some
individual sellers on eBay who enjoy modifying games – if you can identify
who they are, I would consider contacting them directly for a special order
(may have the best luck identifying them in the months leading up to big
holidays like Christmas when the sellers seem to be more active).

I’d also consider contacting a local transcriber group to see if one of the
group members would be interested in modifying a game or a variety of games
for an individual or a local blind gamers group.

Sincerely,

Eric
