[Sportsandrec] Treadmill running form

Hi, all,

I've been running on a treadmill for a few weeks now, and my footfalls
seem short and choppy. At least part of this is because I keep one or
both hands on the guardrail for orientation purposes. I've found that
if I don't touch the solid barrier while running, I'll lose where I am
in space and immediately fall either left or right. I've heard of
people who circumnavigate this through attaching an elastic cord to
the guardrails or the handlebars, and I'm considering doing something
similar. Does anyone have suggestions or alternatives to offer?

Any and all advice is appreciated,
Justin
