Brad,
Also, if you're interested in learning about self defense and martial arts
practiced by blind people, I suggest looking at the distance education
school, Hadley school for the blind, seminars.
They have archived webinars which I found helpful.
One called Self defense and Home safety or something like that is a good
one; its presented by Ed Hanes, an instructor, and Larry Lewis, a blind
martial artist.
Another one is Judo presented by someone who practiced judo for years. Click
on seminars and then past seminars and then the link to the seminar you want
to hear on the website.
The site is www.hadley.edu.

I found these seminars on this topic and other recreation seminars helpful
to know what blind people could do and adaptations for such activities.

Hello, I was wondering if there was anyone on this list that practiced the
martial arts? If so I am wondering which of the diciplins are being
practiced and which of those seem to be the ones that seem to be taught more
often to those with total vision loss?
