Hi, Everett:
Thank you for letting me know of this web site to subscribe to in order to
learn more about tandem cycling.
I appreciate it a great deal, and plan to check out the included link.
All the best:
Erika

Hi Erika, and all,

There are, I believe, at least 2 organizations out there specifically for
matching up blind cycling stokers with Tandeming pilots, to help blind
people ride more often. Unfortunately I seem to be having a bit of a brain
burp right now and can't tell you the names of those organizations or Web
sites. I do know, however, that reps from both orgs are subscribed to the
Blind_Cycling e-mail discussion list, if interested. You can join that list
by sending a blank message to the following
address:

Hi, all, this sounds fabulous, connecting with fello blind persons to do
something recreationally, and good, healthwise, at the same time.
The only problem is: I live in Kansas City, MO:
I'm wondering if anyone out
there knows of anything set up for the blind in my area that would include
adaptive sports of any kind.
It's so completely frustrating not being able to have a way of joining up
with other non-sighted folks to do fun, physically-active activities like
walking, running, or anything else that would be healthy to do.
Please write with any suggestions.
Erika
