[Sportsandrec] Looking for ways to navagate Trails in nature.

If he didn't believe that I couldn't do anything, I know for a fact that he wouldn't have let me put out a campfire, help him fix a tent pole, go fishing, travel on a city bus without him or a number of other things. It's only in situations like the one we did yesterday. Believe me, I don't understand why he takes the burden of responsability on himself  besides the fact that  he wants all to be safe and have a good time.

Him taking  the responsability and doing this sort of thing once or twice a year? Are there techniques out there for this sort of thing?  Is there a way for me to help one of them navagate the tree roots and follow behind while doing so and letting my boyfriend helping all of us through the roughest parts of the trail? Any ideas would be most appriciated Please!!! Thank you!!!
