[Sportsandrec] Holding onto your sited jogging partner

Hello there,
I don't post very often anymore, but this thread caught my attention. I am
a 31-year-old stay at home mom now to a toddler, but was an avid runner in
my 20's. Reading this makes me a little jealous, as I loved loved loved
running. In 2007, I badly injured my IT band. I did PT and all sorts of
stretching, but really could never run long distances again. I spoke of my
background only to illustrate the critical importance of stretching! There
is a bunch of information on stretching the IT band and hip online. I did
stretch before and after every run, but I guess it wasn't enough.

Best of luck, and happy running!
Jessica Reed

I normally run in Central Park. During Aust, I and my guide ran the streets
of Manhattan for Summer Streets.
