[Sportsandrec] Triathlon

It was once inhabited by the Calusa Indians.  Don't know any of them personally.  They are all now dead.  I do know some of the children and grandchildren, grandchildren, great grandchildren of the first settlers. I have only been here for 27 years and am now 77.

Do you know about any people native to Pine Island, as in indigenous 
cultures? , "discovery" of certain land masses.
Nonetheless, I find knowledge of this island, of which I had no idea 
quite interesting, compelling.
