Good evening again everyone,

Please find below a list of Websites containing information related to golf
for the blind and persons with disabilities:

National Alliance for Accessible Golf:

Website: http://www.accessgolf.org/

Since this organization provides grants for establishing
golf programs for the disabled here's another opportunity for partnership
between the NFB and this organization to create opportunities for blind
golfers throughout the country.

US Blind Golf Association

USGA-Modified Rules for Golfers with Disabilities

Middle Atlantic Blind Golf Association (MABGA:

Website: www.mabga.org

Note:

This is the first I've heard of this organization. It sounds
like they play the game without meyering in the higherarchy of sight yay!

Articles

These articles come from various NFB publications and
contain information about golf for the blind:

Future Reflections Special Issue: Sports, Fitness, and Blindness:

Blind Kids in Sports--Focus on Golf

Website:

Future Reflections Special Issue: Sports, Fitness, and Blindness:

YOU KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE BALL:

MY LOVE AFFAIR WITH GOLF

Website: https://nfb.org/images/nfb/publications/vod/vfal0002.htm

I'm not sure if there are similar organizations here in
Texas but will find out. I attempted to learn the sport throughout my life
most recently when we lived in Austin. I was coached by the golf writer for
the Austin American Statesman. If I can find someone to play with here in
San Antonio I'll look forward to playing the TPC San Antonio soon. This is
definitely a sport worth promoting among the blind. See you at the
Greenbrior.
