Hi,
Good idea but not everyone lives near a group; those groups are
in more
urban areas.

I've sometimes wished to tandem cycle too but have no guides
although I
never looked for one. I wish there was a better way than seeking
a stranger
volunteer.
You could try putting up ads for a volunteer in the community
such as at
your community centers or public library. Also someone from a
civic club
such as Kwanis or lions club might be available.

Reaching out and joining your local cycling club is also a good
way to
meet potential pilots and/or owners of tandems.

 Hello all you cyclers,

I would like to get into tandem cycling, but have no idea how to
find a
sighted guide for the front seat! Can you give me some
suggestions?

 thanks,

 Shonen

Also put the word out at your local bike shops, and look for
cycling social groups like on meetup.com
