Hello Joseph,

Braille compasses are available through blindness companies; I think 
Independent Living aids has them and the NFB Independence Market.
I would guess talking compasses can be bought too there.

Yes, the Victor Trek is still being made. There is also a new stand alone 
device from Humanware for GPS.
Its real expensive though but if you can afford it or have support to buy 
it, the device has cameras to OCR  print and also take pictures of the 
environment. It’s the Stellar Trek. The Stellar Trek also uses artificial 
intelligence to describe the environment.
I'm not sure about landmarks with it. I do not know how useful it would be 
at a camp site or trail. That is a good question for Humanware staff.
