*Hello,*
*I hope this inquiry is appropriate for this list. I am attending an NFL
football game live and in person next weekend, which I have not done in
many years. I am wondering about making the experience more accessible, and
in particular I’m trying to figure out how to listen to the radio broadcast
while I’m at the game. (Not a blind-specific issue of course, but pretty
much essential to my following the action as a blind attendee.)*
*Can anyone advise how to do this? Now that I’m looking into it, this seems
more complicated than I had expected. I had planned to access the radio
broadcast using my iPhone. However, when I tested this out (from home)
trying to listen to a couple recent games, it seems that the local radio
stations (the ones that are flagship carriers for the particular teams) are
restricted from broadcasting the games via the “Listen Live” feature on
their websites. I also tried using TuneIn; the TuneIn website seems to
carry the radio broadcasts of all the games, yet when I click the “Play”
button for a given game, I get the same looping message that they are
restricted from broadcasting the game.*
*I feel like I’m missing something really fundamental here, but I’m not
sure what else to do. Can anyone tell me a good option , or what step in
this I am missing?*
*Thanks in advance for any guidance.*
*Andrew*
