[stylist] history of the cane

Good afternoon everyone,

    This is a project the NFB Writers' Division and the NFB Living History 
Group could partner on to document the history of the long white cane and 
its use by the blind.

so far, I'm not finding such a book on the history of the cane.  and,
what is on the web is surprisingly shallow.  on a dozen or more sites
is identical, or nearly identical, text.

find nothing at nls.
