[stylist] problem with jaws

I'm editing a large novel.  I've decided to excerpt one chapter at a time and work on it as a smaller document.  I've come across this problem before, but always managed to get around it.  Jaws is not reading the complete line when I'm reading back one line at a time or in say all mode.  Has anyone ever come across this situation with jaws?  How do you solve it?  Please help!  Judith
