John,
welcome to this group. it has been a great source of support and
learning for me! and I think you'll find that so for you.

if you go to our division website
www.nfb-writers-division.org
you can read my biography there, as well as some others.

Christmas is very important in my year each year. in part because of
how I was raised, but since becoming a Christian it has taken on
greater significance.
I have a dog I walk with who is not a guide dog, I am too weak yet to
train with a guide dog. I am recovering from congestive heart
failure; and I'm pretty far ahead of the curve thank God.

I too am a conservative socially and politically. that doesn't mean
I am humorless.

I am looking forward to your perspective on our list John.
