John, this email in which you layout your reasons for writing from where you
live within deafness or blindness and the real world and avoiding writing as
though you are of the "non-disabled" and are of the main stream, was a very
good read. I'd say it would be a great article for the Writers' division's
Slate and Style. How about copying it out and rework it a tiny bit and
submit it to Lori Stayer.
