[stylist] FW: This I Believe Essay Submission

Hi Judith,

I read your piece. I liked allot. Freedom is a very squishy, delicate and
yet resilient thing. It is much more complex than it seems on the surface.

Think about some of our most controversial topics these days. Abortion, gay
marriage, the USA Patriot Act, immigration policy, voting and many more. In
addition to freedom, the idea of justice is an important corollary.

Before people get off topic on this list, please understand that I am not
trying to begin a thread to debate these issues. There are more appropriate
places to do so. I was simply trying to commend Judith on standing up and
being counted, in print, for her beliefs. What good is writing without
that?

Warmest Regards,

Fred

Fred, I wrote something for them. I want to circulate it for potential
publication but I had to review the guidelines first. It says nothing here
about exclusivity so you can post it to other places, including this list.
I'm still thinking if I should send my piece to the list. Judith
