Good evening everyone,

    Here is a quick update on the repair  of the NFB Writers' Division Web
Site. Over half of the pages have been converted from PHP to SSI. The new
menu and footer includes have been married to each page. I expect to begin
replacing the old pages and will finish converting the rest of them
tomorrow. If all goes well the site will have been returned to full
operation with a few enhancements by week's end.

    This whole business with the PHP include paths on the new server  is
something no one saw coming kind of like Mary's Pancreatitis. I was
expecting things to operate as they always did. Boy did this horse throw me
to the ground but good!

    Once the page links and include tags have been edited and replace I'll
take down the old site pages and replace them with the new ones. This
process could possibly be completed on this Web site by tomorrow evening at
the earliest. I'll let you know when the surgery is over. All the best for a
great evening. Talk to you later.
