This is an example, though a very short one, of a philosophical poem that
doesn't share details or anything but expresses the poet's sentiments about
her blindness.  From a book published in 1917.

HER ANSWER.

“What will you do! How can you live!
Now Hope and Joy and Love have fled?”

She bowed her face upon her hands:
“Thank God! I still have Faith,” she said.
