Helene,

Hey! I'm new to this list and haven't even posted an intro yet. I'm having
fun getting to know the rest of you!

I know you and a couple of others from the NAGDU list. I would love to read
your book, or sections of it. My e-mail addy is tamara.8024 at comcast.net.

Now back to lurking. /smile/

Subject: Re: [stylist] Moving backwards and forwards in time?

Thanks for getting back to me on my last question. I think I've now
pruned everything that can be. I've also decided to send work
privately to who ever is interested. Once I've completed the novel.

Anyone interested in reading samples of my work off group?

I've another question regarding time. For the first 14 chapter we go
back and forwards in time. The first chapter is set in November 2012.
Nema (who is blind and Autistic flees from the Nazdonian dictator with
her baby son who has taken these magic gems from their hiding place).
She is helped by the major character Malaz. The next chapter is set in
1965 until 1975. Introducing the Murdag family from the perspective of
a non magical character from Poln (which is a country rather like
England so very close to the real world). Chapter 3 is back to
November, 2012. This goes on for the first 15 chapters.
Part two is all set in the past (1978 onwards). Part 3 in 2010 to 2012
were the book ends with the dictator's downfall). Since this is a
differant world I did try giving it a differant time, and differant
names for months (13 originally) but I found it confused things too
much so now it's back to our times.
