There are certain characters that when they take on a career (life
commitment) they are then know by their last plus Nish and the N is always
capital. ex. Gener Anch became know as AnchNish
A set of genetically engineered characters all have a name that ends with
valli and it is always lower case. ex. Mikavalli, Krenvalli
When I had some people read the first chapter, it was brought up about the
similar sounding names could be confusing but they did not have enough of
the novel to know it was a naming convention. That first chapter only had
one character with Nish in his name and two characters with the valli
ending. The valli names sounded too similar to be differentiated until the
middle of the second chapter that they did not have access to.
