[stylist] confusing similar words

[Angela fowler]

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but "insure" relates to insurance, while to
"ensure" something is to make certain it happens.

I believe that is why words can play that role in a sentence.
 It does remind me that it is wise Not to use a word if you are uncertain
about it.  (Lay and lie; ensure or insure are confusing.)It is smart to know
what I do not know!
