Keitei, Katie, Katy, KT- Thank you for the quick response! And I believe I
understand the use of K e I t e I for your public/authoring name. I do see
it as --- well, as a name recognition ploy, I'd say it is attractive and
memorable. You know, I do something similar- as in for name recognition, I
use my entire name, first, middle and last- Robert Leslie Newman and I think
it is a good sounding handle and I do believe that it helps to make me stand
out in the crowd. Hey, we are also talking marketing here.
So then Keitei, it is your name that was found on the "Angel's Light" story.
And how does the writing go? Did you find the feedback from this group to be
of help? Bet you can get some more.

ok, there seems to be some confusion about the spelling of my
nname.For penmenship records my name is spelled K e i t e i.
The story about the spelling behind that spelling is because I was
getting fed up of having my name spelled like so many others with the same
name. When I started learning some of the Japanese language, I found out
how to spell my name with a more oriental looking and still english
sounding.
I really only use this name for my books, and I don't want anyone
else getting confused.

Interesting!? I appreciate you bringing this mystery up. In fact, I've
talked to this young lady twice via the phone (like a month ago and another
time like back in February or March). And I'm thinking I'll have to call her
again and see what the story is on the name. I mean, it was me who started
off the Katie K a t I e spelling, because as the President of the division I
request membership info and K a t I e is how it is spelled in my records (I
just looked to make sure). And the email address is the same one; making
sure I hadn't screwed up and thought we were talking/thinking about a
different person!
Gee, should we do some speculations here- maybe Katie is a short form, a
more mainstream spelling of her real and full first name? Or, how about ---
she is using (Now you guys, I'm truly meaning this in a respectful manner
and "HEY KATIE IF YOU ARE READING THIS, HELP!") but maybe it is a pen name?
