While you are correct, there is still a subculture amongst the blind.
Despite us being forced to assimilate our-selves into mainstream culture, to
say that there is not a subculture would be incorrect.  Our subculture
hasnothing to do with race, ethnicity, or anything else.  It would be closer
to say a group of marines, or a subgroup of that nature.  A group of people
who act a certain way do to having to adapt to a specific set of
circumstances.
