Is Beverly Butler still around?  She wrote a book titled, To light a Single
Candle.  It was published in the 1970s and was written loosely about her
experience at the Wisconsin School for the Blind, I believe. Then, there was
also David Hartman who wrote, White Coat, White Cane and Robert Russell who
wrote, To Catch the Wind.  There are many others, but I can't recall their
names off the top of my head.  Will have to do some more pondering on that
question.
