Oh yes!  I'd forgotten about Jean Little.  She wrote a book called, The
Stars Come out Within in which she talks about her experience losing her
sight.  I could really relate to what she said.

I was cleaning my desk today, and found an article about a blind author.   
Her name is Jean Little.   She writes children's books, and has over 40 to
her 
name.   The article says she is "Guelph-based," which may refer to a
publisher.
