[stylist] question

I don't want to be blind, because I already am. I don't want to be sighted,
because it would mean adjusting to a whole new life style as I said before.
Sometimes I really do wish I had the ability to look over a distance and
spot... Say... A friend, or the location of a building. Sometimes its
frustrating as hell, but I sure as hell don't obsess over it. There's too
much that I can and should do for me to worry about what I can't do.

There are people who want to be blind. Why should it be such a terrible
thing anyway. I mean there are men who want to be women, Women who want to
be men, People with ginger hair who want black hair etc etc...
If blindness is but a characteristic it shouldn't matter if someone feels
they don't want to see any more. They either have sensory integration
problems and can't cope with having all 5 senses, or they have mental health
issues, or maybe just BIID (body intergration disorder). It usually just
involves people who want their limbs removed because they feel it doesn't
belong to them, but it also can involve sight or hearing too.
