[stylist] Point of View Provoker

If you are writing a story, someone has to tell it. Either one of the
characters tell it or a narator. The narrator can be the author or a
character. For example when you write, "Susie went to the store." as the
author you are narrating Susie's actions. If you put it this way, "I saw
Susie walking to the store" the "I" is the narrator. Was "I" the author?
Another character? At the beginning of a written piece the reader learns
who "I" is. The author chooses what is best for him or her and ultimately
the reader. Judith
