Sorry it took me so long to get to Chelsea's provoking post-

I know I will use first person and with this perspective, I find that in
this mode, my characters will tend to run the show of leading me to where
the story is going.

I will also use a form of third person where I try to not be in anyone's
head. This mode of creative thought can be --- I'm sitting here thinking
back over recent projects that I have worked upon and I'm trying to get a
feel for what I really feel about this perspective. I like writing and/or
thinking in this way, and I believe I find it easy to flow with, but I have
this sneaking little suspicions that there are times when I find it to be
more work than a story with first person.

Subject: [stylist] Point of View Provoker

Hello Listers,

In leu of our conference last night, Robert charged me with posting this
about point of view and how it is achieved:

What point of view do you take when telling a particular narrative? We all
know the commons like first person and the two third-person views (limited
and omniscient), but how does perspective affect your story, opening or
limiting it? Does your character tell you how the story should be written?
Words for contemplation.

Sincerely,
Chelsea Cook
