[stylist] German shepard in fantasy world?

Helene, I live in America and know of a lot of Americans who have German 
Shepards.  Shepard as a dog description is a generic word.  There are lots 
of shepards.  Since what you are writing is fantasy, you don't have to get 
that specific about the dogs in the story.  Judith
