[stylist] apologies

Hi, Alan:

It's been a long time since I read it, but it was boring! I found myself
unimpressed by his metaphors, etc. I also didn't think his form was that
different from other writers of his time. So I didn't think he was as
revolutionary as my prof did. I experienced his poetry as very dark and
empty. There are other poets who write "dark" poetry but they also convey
the experience of what that "darkness" is like. My all-time favorite poet is
e.e. cummings.--Susan
