Esther's celebration is Purim, which occurs in March. Look at that one as
our Halloween, but it commemorates Esther's saving of the Jewish people
from certain death.
This is the feast of booths right now. That is a harvest festival
(October, or thereabouts). Our calendar is lunar, with leap months seven
times
every nineteen years. I was born in a leap month, so I haven't had as many
birthdays in the Hebrew calendar as you might think.
