Judith and Lori: I think we just percieve the world differantly. I
don't assume the authorities will do the right thing, because often
they don't and I'm afraid that's going to reflect in my story.

Barbara: Yes, witches do look down on non witches and faders too (even
though they are witches too). Plus witches like Beria don't believe in
interfering with another witch from their clan. Or at least not unless
their personal interests are at stack. Their are other reasons too
that I'm going to reviel later in the book).
Darthrilian non witches also tend to recipricate by disliking witches
wether they abuse their power or not. They also tend to see people of
Nazdonian heritage as 'backwards'. So their is a lot of politics in
play here.

As for the school Nadia goes to, they are big on corprol punishment
themselves so what Nadia's mom hits Nadia it doesn't strick them as
objectionable. They did used to hit children when I was at school
including on the head. The changes have only come lately and I have no
idea how modern schools operated so I'm sticking with what I know
here.
