[stylist] Critiques and Writing Prompts

Joe and all,

As for what is posted here, I would think that is up to the list owner. 
Whether ultimately posted here or a web link to your material , I think it 
is  courteous to put a disclaimer for people to choose whether  to read or 
not. Regarding the writing prompts I think that is a fantastic idea.  As a 
songwriter I often do what is called object write. Pick an item and just 
let the mind express itself on screen. It is always interesting to take a 
topic or idea, give it to several people and see how they write  and how 
they follow the trail. I often blog on various thoughts, experiences or 
story behind teh songs type thing as well as write various encouraging 
bits  off cuff sitting at the desk and find it usually clocks in at 1100 to 
1300  words  either way, without trying to keep it down or build it up.
