Angela and all, I interviewed today with a woman who writes for a woman's
magazine. She is doing an article about women who dress differently than
their peers in the workplace because of religious or ethnic affiliation. I
mentioned that I'm legally blind and walk with a white cane. I don't think
she understood the fact that even though people appear different, it doesn't
diminish their talents as human beings. I thought this article was the
perfect example of how blind people, who walk with a white cane that most
people don' understand, could be wonderful authors, lobby Capitol Hill
successfully and proceed with their lives as normal women. Do I have your
permission to forward this article to her? Thanks, Judith
