[stylist] not a poet, I just blow it

wow,
Lori this was last night? dream of writing on a haunted
typewriter? sure there's gotta be a couple of key puns in that one.

yes, dreams can have the sensory experience of fingers
typing. usually when a dream has such sensation it is getting closer
to what's technically called vivid dreaming. in vivid dreaming, you
know you are dreaming but continue to dream, and exercise more
control over yourself in the dream than usual.
Boyd and body? I would wonder what kind of associations you have
with the name boyd.

a line of capital Z's, ZZZ is the cartoon quote over somebody
sleeping. some people think Z has other symbolic meaning, for
example it is the end of the alphabet. thus, it might be a symbol of
death or completion.
twice you had violence, very intense violence, so if this is about
your surgery your subconscious is viewing it in terms of a mugging, a
street fight.
I also wonder if there's another explanation instead, or as dreams
go, on another level than your surgery.
your ghost is female? she can take control of your typewriter. is
the typewriter so to speak typing the narrative of your life? is
that typewriter, according to your dream, the storypoint of your life?
dreams are complex, and usually the best one to sort out the meaning
is the dreamer. anybody who says they have a "system" for figuring
out dreams is nuts.
dreams are full of symbols.
some time when you're relaxed in a quiet place, try imagining
yourself as the ghost. what is it you want to write on Lori's
typewriter? why must you take over her typewriter? how do you feel
about Lori?

I see why you said "huh?" kinda surprising I'd write that after
your dream writing!
not going into detail, but Jung had very detailed theories of all of
us humans having a collective unconscious, kind of a group species
subconscious. he also talked about dreams and their symbols. to
make him even more relevant he talked about syncronicity like I
mention you write from your dreams and you just had a writing dream.
