Judith, also, you haven't met Governor Paterson, or heard him speak (I 
presume).   Despite his lack of blindness skills, he is a competent leader.   I 
have met him, and I agree that he is doing as well as any governor would do 
who came into office and had to deal with what he has to deal with.
When he has time (if not reelected), I would hope he could take the time to 
learn Braille or mobility, but right now he doesn't.   He now has met 
competent blind role models, so perhaps his perspective will change.
