Hi Friends,
I'm coming down to the wire with my fantasy novel "The Heart of 
Applebutter Hill." I'm putting my articles on hold for another week or 
so to finish up the final edit prior to handing it around for comments. 
Anyway, here is a brief synopsis (132 words). Let me know how it strikes 
you and if it catches your interest.

attending an unusual private school in Applebutter Hill. During summer break, Abigail (a songwriter who dreams of stardom) and Baggy (a photographer who likes working with cars and wood) travel in a flying ship disguised as a cloud. As uninvited guests in theCastle
  ofBargundoom, they learn of plans to steal a powerful sapphire from their new school. They escape  to Satori Green where giant Crysanthemums take them to Anbata's Well for guidance.Rutherford,
a grumpy acorn, offers to help. Efforts to unravel the mystery bring them face to face with the stone itself and an armed stranger. Abigail is dealing with failing eyesight. Her guide dog provides clues that uncover the spy. A secret surveillance
plan reveals the truth behind bullying.
