Very good opening to this email and very helpful advice! Gee, maybe the next
step to keep this on target for the purpose of this list, is to assist in
writing a type of letter that can properly ask for clarification of a policy
statement, and then maybe follow that up with the drafting of a letter of
complaint to a higher authority! (I mildly say some of this in a humorous
way, though being serious about any help in writing that may come our way
--- and backing up one step, and that is for me to make a "mailing list
police" comment, on honoring our promise to STYLIST members to keep any
non-writing chatter off this list and respectfully have it posted to our
"CHAT list." And my comment is --- we haven't gone too far on our posts to
this plea by a member for advice --- and speaking to the nature of her plea,
I have less of an issue with this type of post, it was "blindness rights"
related, and we should never not answer  that type of "cry for help." 

So hey --- all you wonderful Writers' Division members and STYLIST folks,
you all have a happy and healthy Thanks Giving!
