[stylist] list trouble

In general, how a list is configured should not cause the kinds of problems that people are writing about in that slowness of opening and such is a problem 
on one's local machine.  Having said that, someone mentioned a large attachment.  A large attachment could cause such behavior and depending upon 
the individual configurations, could be passed more than once by being included with replies.  Of course, list configuration causes this indirectly by 
permitting attachments.  

I didn't notice if there were some large attachments, but keep in mind that Word files are always bigger than the same text takes in a text file, and if there 
are pictures or a signature stored as a picture or logos and such, they can increase the size of a Word file dramatically.  Also, is anyone having problems 
using digest mode?  That can lead to some large messages and I don't know if attachments impact those or not..
